SCOUTS offer young people fun and friendship, while they develop leadership and life skills, together with increased self-confidence, self-esteem and self-reliance. Farm Cove Scout Group offer exciting activities for all young people from the age of 5. To find out more about a particular section click on the navigation links above.

Keas are our youngest section and designed for children aged 5-7 (year 1-3 at school)

Cubs the next step up, runs for children aged 8-10 (year 4-6 at school),

Scouts offer action packed activities for children aged 11 - 14 years (Year 7-10 at school). They can attend the Scout Jamboree which is the highlight for many Scouts.

Venturers are for ages 14-18 . Farm Cove and Captain Musick Venturers meet together on Thursday evenings at the Captain Musick scout den. They are responsible for much of their own programs with the help of the Venturer Advisors. They can work towards their Queen Scout and Duke of Edinburgh awards.

If you are in years 1 to 13 at school, you're invited to visit your local Scout Group and participate in a trial of our ‘Adventure Plus’ programme one evening each week for 4 weeks.
